Education
Education is the key to a better life for everyone, and it is critical in developing nations like Liberia. To this end, Firestone Liberia has its own school system and is constantly evaluating the education needs of the company's employees and their families. As a strong supporter of education, Firestone Liberia:
- Operates and assumes the full cost of a 26-school system, which includes a high school.
- Educates more than 15,000 children enrolled in its school system.
- Provides on-the-job training to improve the work skills of Liberian employees.
- Offers scholarships for advanced education at home and abroad.
